Behind the brand
The Type story.
Type is a small, self-funded brand founded by physician Abid Haque. Its first bag, Type A, grew from his experience carrying everyday essentials during long healthcare shifts. The collection focuses on durable materials, practical organization and designs that work from the clinic to travel and daily life.
The brand supports Operation Happy Nurse, a nonprofit providing free mental health resources and a peer community for nurses. Type also works with selected retailers and organizations on wholesale, group gifting and qualifying customization projects.
